Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as an Engineering Consultancy Practice (ECP), the company offers multidisciplinary expertise across civil, mechanical, electrical, commercial, and energy efficiency domains. Its engineers have extensive experience in areas such as structural design, fire protection, HVAC, electrical transmission and substations, and control and instrumentation. WIBAWA CONSULTANCY also supports clients with regulatory compliance, specialty plant engineering, 3D plant design, commissioning and testing, project management, and operations advisory for power plants.
Role Description The Electrical Engineering Intern will support Engineering teams in WP. Kuala Lumpur for HQ work arrangement, combining on-site work. Responsibilities include assisting in electrical system design and documentation as well as performing basic calculations, drawings, and technical reports under sup
ervision.Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity concepts, supported by progress toward a relevant degree or diploma.
- Ability to perform Electrical Design tasks, including basic schematics, layouts, and component selection under guidance.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and technical evaluation.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members, documenting work, and preparing clear reports and presentations.
- Proficiency with standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic simulation tools) and MS Office applications.
- Interest in power generation, transmission, and industrial electrical systems; familiarity with Malaysian standards and regulations is an advantage.
- Capacity to learn quickly, follow safety and quality procedures, and work both independently and in a team environment.
