Get to know the Role:

We are seeking to hire a detailed-oriented account associate. Talented & passionate candidates are encouraged to join our team. With Hata, you will have opportunities to assist in managing Hata’s daily financial operations. Hence, it is very important that you take the initiative to learn quickly, and have the right mindset and skill sets to complete tasks within the given time frame.

The Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, digital wallet, supplier, intercompany, and other account reconciliations.
• Review transactions and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.
• Investigate discrepancies, unusual balances, and missing information, and follow up where needed.
• Support month-end closing, management accounts, financial reporting, and cash flow preparation.
• Manage assigned accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members on routine accounting tasks.
• Review selected work and provide constructive feedback where needed.
• Help coordinate pending items and support the team in meeting deadlines.
• Maintain complete and audit-ready financial documentation.
• Support audit, tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to clarify transactions and resolve accounting matters.
• Suggest practical improvements to accounting processes, documentation, and controls.

The Must-Have:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and other financial software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administrative or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech is a plus.
