Job Description

Responsibilities

To provide efficient administrative and operational support for the day-to-day management of the corporate in-house clinic, while assisting the medical team in delivering quality healthcare services to employees. The role also supports health screening programmes, employee health monitoring, medical benefits administration and coordination with HR and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

A. Clinic Operations & Employee Services

  • Assist employees with clinic enquiries, appointments, follow-ups and general healthcare-related matters.
  • Assist the Medical Officer/medical team during consultations and basic clinical procedures.
  • Perform basic health assessments such as blood pressure, BMI, temperature and other routine measurements, as trained and authorised.
  • Ensure employees receive professional, courteous and efficient service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information at all times.

B. Corporate Health Screening & Wellness Programmes

  • Coordinate and support onsite health screening activities for employees.
  • Assist with registration, data collection, health measurements and documentation during health screening programmes.
  • Support vaccination programmes, health campaigns, health talks and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in tracking employees who require medical follow-up after health screening.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and health monitoring activities as directed by the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate health screening records and programme documentation.

C. Medical Benefits & Claims Administration

  • Assist with medical claims, billing documentation, invoices and related administrative matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of medical utilisation and related documentation.
  • Assist in identifying discrepancies in billing or medical charges and escalate them for review.

D. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain proper filing of employee medical records and documents.
  • Prepare monthly reports as required.
  • Assist in compiling claim utilisation, health screening and employee health data.
  • Manage clinic correspondence, emails, forms and other administrative documentation.
  • Ensure all records are maintained accurately and in accordance with company requirements.

E. Coordination with HR & Management

  • Assist in coordinating medical appointments, health screening and health-related programmes.
  • Support communication with employees regarding health programmes and clinic activities.
  • Provide administrative support for management healthcare initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain professional communication with employees, supervisors, HR, healthcare providers and vendors.

Compliance & Confidentiality

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee medical information and records.
  • Follow company policies, clinic SOPs, infection control procedures and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out within the scope of the assigned role and relevant healthcare guidelines.
  • Support internal audits and compliance requirements when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Healthcare Administration, Medical Assistant, Business Administration or related field.
  • Previous experience in a clinic, corporate healthcare environment, occupational health or medical administration is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting corporate health screening or employee wellness programmes will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinic procedures.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and clinic management systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Customer-service oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Able to work effectively with doctors, nurses, HR, employees and external healthcare providers.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
