Job Description
Responsibilities
Working Location: Based in Great World City (GWC) but required to travel to Shipyard at 5 Jalan Samulun (2-3 times weekly)
Working hours in the shipyard: 7.30am to 5.00pm (transportation provided in the morning)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare month-end closing entries for Singapore and Saudi entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Review general ledger transactions and ensure all transactions have been properly recorded and accounted for
Prepare audit schedules for Singapore and Saudi entities
Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist on annual audit and preparation of financial statements for Singapore and Saudi entities
Prepare tax computation for Singapore and Saudi entities
Prepare and submit VAT returns timely and accurately
Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions between entities
Support process improvements
Serve as a key finance business partner to the Saudi subsidiary by providing guidance to support business operations, while ensuring compliance with established SOPS, internal policies and control framework
Handle ad-hoc assignments including preparation of management reports and support for regulatory submissions (e.g. government surveys)
Key Requirements
Min 3-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment
Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST and corporate tax
Experience in audit and tax compliance across multiple entities
Experience handling cross-border operations, preferably involving the Middle East
Proficient in MS Excel and Words
Experience in managing a team
Experience in SAP will be advantage
Education
Bachelors in Accountancy or Finance
