We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Loader to manage and oversee GIS data loading operations within an Oil & Gas environment. The role focuses on spatial data loading, updating, validation, and enterprise geodatabase management while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and efficient loading workflows.

• Oversee and manage GIS data loading activities, including the design, development, and implementation of data loading processes.
• Load, update, and validate spatial data within enterprise geodatabases using ArcGIS platforms.
• Develop and improve data loading strategies, workflows, and procedures using relevant GIS software and tools.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data loading errors and issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure data loading activities follow appropriate versioning and workflow procedures to prevent duplication and data discrepancies.
• Support GIS database management and ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of loaded spatial data.
• Work closely with GIS Database Managers, GIS administrators, and other technical teams on data loading and integration activities.
• Mentor and guide junior data loaders by sharing best practices and ensuring efficient and consistent data loading operations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Geo-Information, Geomatics, Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of cumulative experience in GIS system development and GIS database management.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in loading, updating, and validating spatial data into an enterprise geodatabase (SDE / Geodatabase or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or ArcCatalog for spatial data loading and management.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with at least one enterprise database management system:
• SQL Server
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• Minimum 2 evidenced assignments where the candidate designed or improved a data loading process or workflow, including the project, scope, and period.
• Minimum 2 years of cumulative experience working on Oil & Gas industry projects or with Oil & Gas clients.
• Strong understanding of GIS data loading, validation, enterprise geodatabases, and spatial data management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
