Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Assistant Manager supports the Operations & Supply Chain Manager in overseeing the end-to-end supply chain function - procurement, logistics, warehouse and shipping - ensuring efficient, cost-effective and reliable operations that support Pure Mylk's manufacturing and co-packing commitments.

2. Key Accountabilities

- Support planning and execution of procurement, logistics, warehousing and shipping activities to meet production and customer delivery schedules.

- Assist in supplier management, including sourcing, negotiation support and performance monitoring.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to avoid material shortages or overstocking.

- Prepare and review supply chain reports, KPIs and cost analyses for management.

- Support process improvement initiatives and SOP compliance across the supply chain function.

- Deputise for the Operations & Supply Chain Manager as required.

3. Job Requirements/ Qualifications

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.

Working Experience

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, with supervisory experience.

Required language(s)

Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written)

Required Knowledge

Supply chain planning, procurement, logistics/warehouse operations, ERP systems, import/export and regulatory requirements.

Required skill (s)

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and people management skills; proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
