UBTS Pte Ltd Hiring! Full Time Trailer Fabrication Supervisor in - Ricebowl

Work Location: Singapore 

UBTS is looking for an experienced Trailer Fabrication Supervisor who can lead a workshop team while remaining technically hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise trailer fabrication, modification, repair and refurbishment work

* Plan daily manpower, assign jobs and monitor completion deadlines

* Inspect trailers and determine the appropriate repair or fabrication method

* Prepare material requirements, measurements and work instructions

* Ensure correct welding, alignment, reinforcement and structural workmanship

* Conduct quality and safety inspections before releasing completed trailers

* Supervise work involving skeletal trailers, flatbeds, low beds and other heavy-vehicle trailers

* Train and guide welders, fabricators and workshop assistants

* Control material usage, reduce wastage and maintain workshop tools

* Coordinate with operations, fleet and workshop teams on trailer availability

* Maintain job records, repair histories and progress reports

* Escalate major structural defects and unsafe conditions to management

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures

Requirements

* At least 5 years of relevant trailer or heavy-vehicle fabrication experience

* Previous experience as a supervisor, foreman or senior fabricator

* Strong practical knowledge of welding, cutting, chassis repair and steel fabrication

* Able to read drawings, take accurate measurements and estimate materials

* Able to diagnose cracks, distortion, corrosion and structural damage

* Good leadership, planning and problem-solving skills

* Able to supervise workers of different nationalities

* Welding, fabrication or workplace-safety certification is an advantage

* Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence is an advantage
