Role Description The Product Market Developer (Freelance) role is a contract position based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be performed from home. The role involves researching market opportunities for hygiene products, identifying potential customer segments, and analyzing competitive offerings. The Product Market Developer will help shape product positioning and value propositions, support the creation of marketing plans, and collaborate with sales and product teams to align market development efforts. Typical activities include preparing market reports, contributing to promotional concepts, coordinating with internal stakeholders on go-to-market strategies, and monitoring performance of product initiatives in target markets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in market research and analysis, including the ability to interpret data and identify trends relevant to hygiene or related industries.
• Experience in product marketing, brand positioning, and developing go-to-market strategies for B2B or industrial products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey product value clearly to internal teams and potential customers.
• Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or marketing platforms) to support planning and reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance and hybrid setup, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
• Prior exposure to hygiene, cleaning solutions, or facilities management sectors is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working in a diverse, inclusive environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams across different regions.
