About the role

This role encompasses shipping and delivery administration alongside warehouse and logistics support, requiring coordination across operational areas to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Handle crucial shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, delivery orders (DO), commercial invoices, and customs documentation

• Coordinate occasional schedules with local couriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL transport vendors for timely cargo pickups and deliveries

• Track outbound and inbound shipments, update order statuses, and flag potential transit delays to internal teams

• Verify carrier freight charges against quotes and process shipping invoices for accounting approval

• Maintain precise real-time inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for stock receipts, transfers, and dispatches

• Reconcile physical stock counts against system records during routine, weekly, or cycle counts, investigating any discrepancies

• Generate warehouse picking lists and packing labels, verifying job orders against physical stock prior to staging

• Liaise directly with warehouse supervisors and forklift operators to prioritize urgent orders and organize staging space

• Monitor warehouse consumable supplies (pallets, stretch wrap, cartons, thermal labels) and initiate purchase requisitions as needed

• Assist with customer service support when possible
