Centre For Novostics Hiring! Full Time IT Support Engineer (Novostics2026-004) in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Centre for Novostics (*************), a subsidiary of TR at CUHK Co. Ltd., is dedicated to developing cutting-edge molecular diagnostics based on cell-free nucleic acids in blood and other bodily fluids. We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to commence as soon as possible on a contract basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. The appointee will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Bioinformatics Officer or his/her delegate to provide IT technical support, resolve IT-related issues, maintain and monitor all IT infrastructure and participate in IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company
• Evaluate and implement new IT solutions to support complex research workflows

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in related subjects
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical employees
• Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting Linux (mainly Ubuntu) servers, Windows and MacOS
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Knowledge of networks, AI, GPU computing, etc., will have advantages
