Key ResponsibilitiesPrescription & Dispensing Support

• Prepare medications: Measure, count, package, and label prescriptions accurately under direct supervision.
• Data entry: Receive prescription orders, verify patient details, and accurately enter information into the pharmacy computer system.
• First-line screening: Assist in screening drug charts or prescription orders, flagging illegible handwriting or missing details for the pharmacist.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Stock maintenance: Receive, unpack, and arrange supplier deliveries using FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.
• Expiration tracking: Perform routine shelf checks to flag short-expiry medications and properly dispose of expired stock.
• Supply monitoring: Keep track of store quantities, place replenishment orders, and flag shortages immediately.

Customer Service & Retail Operations

• Front-line assistance: Greet patients, answer telephone inquiries, and direct clinical or prescription-specific questions straight to the pharmacist.
• Point of Sale (POS): Operate the cash register, handle payments, and manage cash transactions securely.
• OTC guidance: Guide customers toward non-prescription, over-the-counter (OTC) products and health items.

Administrative Support

• Record keeping: Create, update, and securely file patient medical files and history.
• Billing & Insurance: Process third-party insurance claims and manage prescription paperwork.
• Maintenance: Ensure the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and safe storage organization of the pharmacy environment

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
