Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities.
Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project progress, quality and site workmanship.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
Review construction drawings and assist with site measurements and setting-out.
Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records and project documents.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and site regulations.
Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in
Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering
or a related engineering discipline.
Preferably
2–5 years of relevant site experience
in the construction industry.
Candidates with experience in building, civil, structural, architectural or related construction works will be considered.
Good understanding of construction methods, site coordination and engineering practices.
Able to read and understand
structural, architectural and engineering drawings
.
Familiarity with construction materials, site measurements and construction procedures.
Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently as well as effectively within a project team.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet project deadlines.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
is an advantage.
Knowledge of
Revit/BIM
and other engineering or construction software will be an advantage.
Familiarity with Singapore construction practices, codes and authority requirements will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
