AMK Technology Hiring! Full Time Product Designer in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to own product experiences end-to-end, from problem framing and interaction design through to implementation and delivery.

You will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to turn ideas into working experiences, using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to implement designs directly in the product codebase. This role goes beyond traditional design handoff — you will actively contribute to building, testing, and shipping your designs.

• Design end-to-end user experiences, including interaction flows, information architecture, and visual/UI design.
• Create working prototypes to quickly explore, validate, and communicate design concepts.
• Implement and ship designs directly into the production codebase using AI-assisted development tools.
• Work with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Apply and maintain consistency with the company's design system and component library.
• Reuse established design patterns and identify opportunities for appropriate extensions.
• Present design decisions and clearly communicate design rationale to stakeholders.
• Document design decisions, interactions, and product behaviours where required.
• Participate in standard development workflows, including Git, branches, merge requests, and code reviews.
• Ensure attention to detail across spacing, states, responsiveness, interactions, motion, and overall UI consistency.

• 6–8 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of product design fundamentals, including interaction design, information architecture, and visual/UI design.
• Proven experience creating clickable or working prototypes for testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, frontend components, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with Git, branching, merge requests/pull requests, and code review processes.
• Ability to translate loosely defined requirements into practical product solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
• Strong attention to visual and interaction details.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Willing to work 5 days onsite in Selangor.
• Available to start in the 1st week of October 2026.
• Willing to commit to a 1-year contract.

• Experience working in the logistics or supply-chain industry.
• Previous experience working closely with software engineering teams.
• Experience implementing designs using frontend technologies or component libraries.
• Experience working with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
