Kobeco Machine Tools Hiring! Full Time Service Technician in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI): Test, inspect, and check all new machinery at our facility to ensure everything works perfectly before it is delivered.
• On-Site Installation & Setup: Travel to customer sites to handle the unboxing, positioning, assembly, leveling, and complete setup of the machines.
• Testing & Handover: Run test cycles and sample pieces to calibrate the machine, ensuring it meets strict standards before official handover to the customer.
• User Training: Provide basic operational and safety briefings to the customer's team during handover.
• After-Sales Support & Repair: Respond to customer service requests to troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns, electrical faults, or minor component issues on-site.

Requirements & Qualifications (Basic):

• Education/Background: Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent practical trade experience in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical wiring, mechanical parts, and how to use standard hand tools and multimeters.
• Traits: A strong willingness to learn, a problem-solving mindset, and a responsible, customer-friendly attitude.
• Fresh graduates or junior technicians with a strong technical foundation are welcome to apply!

***Bonus Points (Good to Have, But Not Required):

• Experience working with industrial fabrication equipment, CNC machinery, or laser systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints, electrical schematics, or pneumatic diagrams.
• Prior experience in a field service or customer-facing technical support role.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
