Our client is a leading global automation and material handling solutions provider serving the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing industries. The company specializes in AMHS and cleanroom automation systems, supporting major customers with advanced equipment, engineering, installation, and technical services.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) equipment as part of the sustaining support team at the customer’s facility.
- Monitor equipment performance, proactively identify issues, and carry out troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform error recovery, equipment repair, installation, modification, and upgrades in accordance with assigned Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) activities.
- Investigate recurring equipment issues and ensure proper root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions are completed and documented.
- Track and follow up on open equipment issues and investigations until full resolution.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of spare parts and equipment components used to ensure consignment inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and submit weekly and quarterly MCBI reports, equipment performance metrics, and technical reports.
- Maintain accurate service and troubleshooting documentation, including 7-Step problem-solving reports.
- Work closely with customers and internal/global teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth equipment operation.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and adapt to new equipment, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provide after-hours/on-site support when required by the customer, including responding to urgent equipment issues.
- Ensure all maintenance and troubleshooting activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site requirements and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in cleanroom automation, industrial automation, AMHS, material handling systems, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Good technical report writing and documentation skills, preferably with experience in 7-Step problem solving.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional/global teams.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for technical communication, reporting, and documentation.
- Willingness to provide after-hours or on-call site support when required.
