Job Summary

Join our team as a Cook to support kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and quality in a fast-paced environment focused on traditional desserts.

Responsibilities

• Portion food accurately and store in designated containers to maintain freshness
• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards
• Manage inventory by restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes and sweeping/mopping floors regularly
• Proactively identify and undertake additional tasks to support kitchen efficiency
• Collaborate with team members by sharing ideas and providing support to achieve common goals
• Follow directions from the head chef and senior kitchen staff to meet kitchen requirements
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support kitchen operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a food handler certificate (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to learn and adapt through provided training, including candidates with no prior experience
