Job Description

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

  • Take ownership of accurate and timely financial and management reporting for a portfolio of entities, including the month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
  • Deliver clear, insightful analyses of monthly and quarterly performance, highlighting key variances, trends and business drivers to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and monthly cash flow projections, providing visibility over funding needs and financial performance.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and work closely with stakeholders to develop robust and well-supported assumptions.
  • Manage the timely and accurate submission of quarterly GST returns and annual tax returns.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Maintain strong financial governance by ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements, accounting standards, and SGX and MAS requirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external auditors, tax agents, the trustee and other service providers to facilitate smooth and timely deliverables.
  • Contribute to process improvements and take on strategic or ad hoc projects that broaden your exposure across the finance function and the wider business.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • A degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualification or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum three to five years of relevant experience in accounting and/or audit, ideally in a comparable role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS) and their application to financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A meticulous, responsible and self-motivated approach, coupled with a positive attitude.
  • Confident to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels and functions.
  • Well-developed organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a REIT or real estate company would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and Cognos would be an added advantage.
