Enterprise Network Engineering / Network Operations

Cloud & Hybrid Connectivity

Job Scope:
Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in a 24/7 production environment

Install, configure, maintain, and monitor network hardware and software to ensure high availability and optimal performance

Design, implement, and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud environments, including VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect

Configure and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, security groups, network segmentation, and access control

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and network-related issue

Support incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and network recovery activities

Implement network changes following change management procedures, including validation and rollback planning

Coordinate with telecom providers, vendors, and external partners for connectivity, provisioning, and issue resolution

Support disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning, and failover testing

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and recommend continuous improvements

Provide after-hours support for planned maintenance, deployments, and critical incidents when required

Requirements:
Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related discipline

Relevant certifications such as

CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate, Check Point, or Fortinet

are advantageous

At least

3 years of relevant experience

in enterprise network engineering or network operations within hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments

Hands-on experience with

AWS networking

, including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPN, and Direct Connect

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and network security best practices

Experience managing enterprise firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point) and load balancers

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, CloudWatch, Wireshark, and traceroute

Experience supporting high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity environments

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skill

Able to work independently and provide after-hours support when required
