Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing project scope, schedules and budgets from conception to completion
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
Prepare and review technical documents such as drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
Support procurement processes including material selection and technical evaluation
Attend site meetings and prepare progress documentation to resolve technical and coordination issues
Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including cost, time and quality
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays
Job requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
Fresh graduates with strong internship experience may also be considered for junior roles
Experience in construction and project management is an added advantage
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Proven experience in project planning, design, and execution
Willingness to travel or be stationed at project sites
Knowledge of ISO standards and safety regulations (e.g. CIDB, OSHA)
Knowledge of contract administration and project documentation is an advantage
