Role Description This is an on-site, contract Technical Writer role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Technical Writer will create, update, and maintain clear and accurate documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, process descriptions, and system reference materials. Daily tasks include collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information, translating complex technical concepts into accessible content, and ensuring documentation meets organizational standards and client requirements. The role involves editing and organizing existing materials, maintaining version control, and aligning content with project timelines and quality expectations. The Technical Writer will also support continuous improvement in documentation processes and may assist in developing templates and documentation guidelines.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field of business-related field
• Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
