Mechanical Engineer

WYN (South East Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to day-to-day engineering and project activities. The position covers mechanical design support, technical coordination, equipment-related work and the preparation of engineering documentation.

You will work with internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders to help ensure mechanical requirements are properly understood and carried through from planning to implementation.

What You Will Handle

Develop and update mechanical drawings, layouts and technical documents.
Assist with mechanical system design and engineering calculations based on project requirements.
Review equipment specifications and technical information from suppliers.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors on drawings, materials and technical queries.
Provide engineering support during installation, testing and commissioning activities where required.
Investigate mechanical issues and assist in identifying practical solutions.
Check engineering documents and drawings for accuracy before submission or implementation.
Track assigned engineering tasks and follow up on outstanding technical matters.
Maintain project records, specifications, drawings and other relevant documentation.
Follow applicable engineering standards, workplace safety requirements and project procedures.

Skills & Background

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Relevant experience in mechanical engineering or project-based engineering work is preferred.
Able to understand technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Comfortable communicating with suppliers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage several assignments.
Careful and detail-oriented when handling technical information.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

About the Role

This is a practical engineering position suited to someone who enjoys combining technical work with project coordination. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of assigned engineering tasks and provide reliable support throughout the project cycle.

Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,500.00 per month
