Business Analyst – Banking / UAT / Data & Systems

Location: Central
Salary: S$4,500 – S$5,500/month
Level: Intermediate / Mid-Level

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support business applications, system changes, data flows and UAT activities within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collate and maintain detailed information relating to assigned business applications, including system interfaces, data flows, data content and application dependencies.
• Provide BAU support to business users and advise on effective system usage.
• Understand project scope and proposed changes, and support the Project Manager in conducting impact assessments.
• Document project impact assessments and clearly record the rationale where no impact is identified.
• Ensure proposed system and data designs are aligned with strategic data-flow and governance requirements.
• Gather, analyse, consolidate and rationalise business and stakeholder requirements.
• Conduct requirements walkthroughs with business and technology stakeholders.
• Participate in solutioning discussions to ensure solutions are scalable, standardised and operationally efficient.
• Assess and recommend appropriate testing approaches, scope and sign-off criteria.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including:UAT planning and timelinesBatch runs and re-runsTest-result trackingIssue follow-upStakeholder sign-off
• Prepare and maintain documentation relating to:Business requirementsData flowsSystem designBusiness solutionsTesting approachImpact assessments
• Ensure documentation is completed in accordance with established templates, governance standards and project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking, financial services or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and business process analysis.
• Good understanding of system interfaces, application dependencies and data flows.
• Experience supporting project change initiatives and performing impact assessments.
• Hands-on experience in UAT planning, coordination and execution.
