Job Summary

Drive business growth by identifying and developing construction sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and coordinating project requirements to deliver successful tender submissions and contract outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with main contractors, consultants, and clients to expand market presence
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster repeat business and referrals
• Source and follow up on project leads, enquiries, and tender opportunities to secure new contracts
• Prepare accurate quotations, tender submissions, and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements
• Conduct market research and monitor upcoming construction projects to inform sales strategies
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and propose suitable construction solutions
• Coordinate with project and operations teams to align technical and commercial requirements for seamless project execution
• Support contract negotiations by providing relevant information and facilitating agreement finalization
• Manage project handover processes post-award to ensure client satisfaction and smooth transitions
• Maintain detailed sales records, project pipeline, and client database for effective tracking and reporting
• Attend site meetings, client meetings, and project discussions to address issues and advance project progress
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and business opportunities to management for informed decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred
• 2–3 years of experience in construction sales, tendering, contracts, or project coordination
• Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, or specialist construction works is an advantage
• Good understanding of construction processes, quotations, and tender requirements
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills demonstrated through client interactions and contract support
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
• Positive attitude with a strong drive to achieve business targets
