Responsibilities
About the role
Lead, mentor and manage a finance team consisting of 3 Senior Executives and 3 Finance Executives, and work closely with the HOD on strategic financial matters. Oversee monthly closing activities, group consolidation and preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Monitor group cashflow, liquidity and provide insight for strategic financial planning.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor and manage a finance team consisting of 3 Senior Executives and 3 Finance Executives, and work closely with the HOD on strategic financial matters
Oversee monthly closing activities, group consolidation and preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and authorities for statutory submissions (audit, tax computation, CP204)
Review and improve internal controls, accounting processes and financial policies for better compliance and efficiency
Prepare monthly forecasts, management reports, cashflow projections and support the annual budgeting process
Ensure timely submission of reporting packages from subsidiaries and maintain alignment with group reporting requirements
Monitor group cashflow, liquidity and provide insight for strategic financial planning
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, statutory requirements and corporate governance
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 6–8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Experience in manufacturing and full set of accounts is required
Exposure to group consolidation is an added advantage
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP systems is preferred
Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
