Responsibilities
Inspect and ensure the quality of welds
Maintain welding tools and equipment
Follow workplace safety standards and procedures
Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
Plan layouts and procedures
Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items
Set up components for welding
Perform welding tasks based on technical drawings and specifications
Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Report damages on machines and equipment
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
