Job Summary

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud servers, storage systems, and network devices to support enterprise IT operations

Monitor and analyze performance metrics (CPU, memory, storage, network traffic) to ensure system availability and proactively resolve issues

Implement and manage firewalls, access controls, security patches, and vulnerability remediation to protect IT infrastructure

Oversee data backup solutions and conduct disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity and data integrity

Required competencies and certifications

Hands-on systems administration experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments

Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows Server operating systems, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VPN protocols

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical work experience
