Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, valves, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
Carry out equipment inspections and condition monitoring to ensure reliable operation.
Install, align, dismantle, and overhaul mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues.
Requirements
Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum
3 years
of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, bearings, seals, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment.
Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform effective repairs.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programmes and CMMS is an advantage.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Manufacturing, Water Treatment, or Process Industries is preferred.
