Job Purpose:

• QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves supervising quality control processes, implementing quality assurance systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily QA/QC operations including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Monitor production processes to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and follow up corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to improve product quality.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
• Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and audit findings to management.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO compliance, customer audits).
• Train and guide QA/QC team members on quality standard and procedures.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemisty, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and quality tools (e.g., 7 QC Tools, CAPA).
• Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and audit processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Not color blind (VERY IMPORTANT for paint industry).
• Knowledge of ESH and chemical handling regulations.
• Willing to travel between factory and customer sites if required.
• Good attention to detail and high integrity in quality decisions.

Job Type: Contract/Full Time

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
