Role Description The English Tutor will deliver engaging and structured English lessons to learners of various ages and proficiency levels, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, conducting tutoring sessions in person at the centre and online, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and caregivers. The tutor will adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs, maintain accurate records of student performance, and collaborate with the Centre’s staff to support program goals. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Tutoring skills, with experience supporting learners at different levels.
• Candidates should possess English Grammar expertise and the ability to explain language concepts clearly and accurately.
• Candidates should possess Online Tutoring capabilities and be comfortable using digital tools and platforms for remote lessons.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to provide clear instructions, feedback, and encouragement.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field are beneficial.
• Experience working in tuition Centres or schools, especially within the Singapore education system, is an advantage.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple learners or classes, and maintain professional conduct in both in-person and online settings.
