Between Buns Deli is our take on the deli done properly. Generously filled sandwiches, honest sides, and food people genuinely look forward to. Born out of the team behind Marcy's and PleasureCraft Group, BBD has built a following in the CBD on the back of one simple belief: approachable food, executed with real care and consistency.

We are now expanding into evening service, and we are looking for a Chef de Partie to grow with us as we take this next step.

What You'll Be Doing

As Chef de Partie, you are a key part of what keeps the kitchen running well and running to standard.

• Execute deli dishes, sandwiches, and sides with consistency and care across both lunch and evening service
• Maintain high standards of preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the shift
• Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure kitchen readiness, smooth service flow, and proper stock management
• Assist with ordering, inventory, stock rotation, portion control, and minimising wastage
• Support and guide junior kitchen team members, helping to maintain a positive and accountable working environment
• Contribute ideas and improvements as Between Buns continues to grow and evolve
• Adapt well to both the pace of lunch service and the rhythm of an evening programme

Who We're Looking For

• A solid CDP with good fundamentals and pride in execution
• Someone organised, dependable, and comfortable working at volume
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to maintain standards across different service periods
• A team player who communicates well and takes ownership of their station
• Someone who understands that simple food done well is never simple

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,800.00 per month
