EPAM Systems Hiring! Full Time Software Engineer (C--) in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer (Trading Systems). You will build and improve global electronic trading services with a focus on performance, stability and scalable deployment. Partner with trading and technology teams to deliver changes end to end — from design and coding through release, monitoring and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance C++ services supporting global electronic trading workflows
• Deliver changes end to end across development, testing, release and production support
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve service stability, latency and throughput
• Build monitoring and alerting to improve availability and incident response
• Automate build and deployment workflows using DevOps practices and tooling
• Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Contribute to modernization efforts including cloud-ready architecture and microservices

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building production-grade C++ applications
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
• Working experience with Linux in production environments
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot distributed systems and microservice-based services
• Working knowledge of Java or Python for service development or automation
• Clear communication with technical and business-facing stakeholders across locations
• Problem-solving approach with ownership from investigation through resolution

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kubernetes, Helm and Docker
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
