Recruit Squad Hiring! Full Time Lead AI Engineer in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to develop innovative AI application using various AI technology, e.g., RAG, workflow and AI agent.

• Bring the AI application from prototyping stage to production with proper evaluation and testing throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Develop services and integrate them with internal and external APIs / MCPs to power AI applications.

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Platform Engineers and Product Owners to deliver AI application in a continuous delivery environment.

• Keep pace with new technologies and promote them across the organization whenever appropriate.

• Mentor and lead a team of AI engineers, and manage the delivery timeline and scope of multiple AI projects.
  

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields - At least 6 years of experience in data science, software engineering or AI engineering

• Experience in delivery of RAG application or other AI application is a must

• Experience in leading and mentoring a team is a must.

• Experience in public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) and having any relevant certification is preferable. - Experience in system design and software development lifecycle is a preferable.

• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps in a large scale enterprise environment is a preferable

• Experience in Web Application development is an advantage (e.g.: NextJs, React, Typescript)

• Experience in the following technology stack is preferable:

  • Programming: Python, SQL

  • AI Orchestration: Langchain, LlamaIndex, etc.

  • Vector DB: Milvus, ElasticSearch, Qdrant, etc.

  • LLM: OpenAI, Deepseek, etc.

  • Data Engineering: Airflow, Spark

  • Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes

  • CICD Suite: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible

  • Test Framework: jMeter, jUnit, PyTest

• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin

• Working location in Hong Kong
