Role Description This is a full-time Internship role based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support daily department operations such as assisting with data entry, report preparation, and coordination of internal documentation. Responsibilities may include supporting various teams in day-to-day operations, engagement activities and administrative initiatives while gaining practical exposure to the full department's tasks. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in meetings, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth workflow. Interns are expected to learn quickly, contribute ideas, and uphold Kao Malaysia’s values in all assigned tasks.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with data and reports.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn, adaptability in a hybrid work environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Admin, Marketing, Management, or a related field;
  • Ability to commute to Petaling Jaya as required;
  • Professional work ethic, respect for diversity, and alignment with Kao’s “Kirei Life” values.
