Job Overview
Join Old Amoy Chendol, a recognized heritage brand preserving Singapore’s traditional dessert culture. We are looking for a reliable, customer-oriented Food Stall Assistant to manage our daily kiosk operations. This role is highly streamlined—focusing entirely on straightforward food assembly, customer service, and maintaining hygiene standards without the need for complex, heavy cooking.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Assembly: Prepare and serve our signature traditional Chendol efficiently to maintain fast queue speeds during peak hours.
Customer Service & Cashiering: Greet customers, take orders accurately, and process payments using our Point of Sale (POS) and cashless payment systems.
Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Maintain strict cleanliness of the stall, equipment, and serving areas in accordance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) guidelines.
Inventory & Restocking: Monitor daily ingredient levels, assist with basic inventory checks, and ensure the kiosk is fully stocked for service.
Daily Operations: Execute standard opening and closing procedures for the kiosk.
Job Requirements
Experience: No prior F&B experience is strictly required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for all assembly and operational procedures.
Certification: Possession of a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is highly preferred. Candidates without one must be willing to attend the funded certification course.
Working Hours: Comfortable working in a fast-paced hawker/kiosk environment and able to commit to flexible shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Attributes: Punctual, responsible, and possesses a friendly disposition to interact positively with customers and team members.
Language: Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse local customer base.
