- Partner closely with Compliance teams to strengthen AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring controls while maintaining an efficient customer experience.
- Translate risk assessment outcomes into scalable rules, controls, and automated decision-making processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance risk tooling, automation capabilities, monitoring frameworks, and operational systems.
- Establish operational service standards and ensure risk reviews are conducted within agreed turnaround times.
- Serve as a key stakeholder across Risk, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams, balancing effective risk management with business growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, operations, financial crime, or transaction monitoring within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services environments.

- Experience assessing transactional, operational, fraud, or financial crime risks within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and customer risk assessment practices.
- Ability to analyse complex cases, identify emerging risks, and make sound risk-based decisions.
- Experience designing operational workflows, policies, or controls from the ground up would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, product, operations, and compliance teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset.
