Job Description

• Oversee and manage all matters related to the Purchasing Department, including procurement and vendor management.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Monitor and track purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify improvement opportunities and potential cost savings.
• Source and purchase raw materials and other requirements for manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Mandarin speaking is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients.
• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing raw materials for manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
• Familiarity with sourcing, supplier evaluation, and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, or relevant purchasing systems.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
