Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy
Finance Analyst
to support the Technology Finance team. This role will focus on financial reporting, budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, technology expenditure and IT asset management.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Technology and Project stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget utilisation and proper financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and analyse
PR/GR and financial reports
using SAP and other enterprise systems.
Process invoice payments and perform timely reconciliation of technology-related expenses.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems.
Support budget planning, forecasting and financial tracking for IT projects and technology operations.
Track actual expenditure against budgets and forecasts and identify variances.
Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards and management insights.
Work with Technology stakeholders to monitor and optimise budget utilisation.
Support budgeting and renewal activities for software, hardware and technology contracts.
Support financial management of technology expenditure, including
CapEx and OpEx
.
Assist with IT asset lifecycle management, including inventory tracking, issuance and decommissioning of laptops and other hardware.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and audit requirements.
Support process improvement and automation initiatives within Finance operations.
Provide ad-hoc financial reporting, analysis and asset management support as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Business, Accounting or a related discipline
.
1–5 years of relevant experience
in Finance, Financial Analysis, Technology Finance, Finance Operations or a related area.
Fresh graduates with relevant Finance internship experience may also be considered.
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
, with experience in financial analysis, reporting and/or financial modelling.
Experience with
SAP or similar ERP systems
is highly desirable.
Familiarity with
Purchase Requisition (PR), Goods Receipt (GR), invoice processing and reconciliation
would be advantageous.
Good understanding of financial concepts, particularly
CapEx and OpEx
.
Experience supporting technology-related expenditure, IT projects or technology operations would be an advantage.
Exposure to
IT asset lifecycle or inventory management
is beneficial.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook and SharePoint.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to PMO support, process improvement or automation within Finance operations would be advantageous.
