About the Roles

Join a semi-con manufacturing organization as a Special Process Engineer, Electron Beam Welding, based at Seletar Aerospace Park in the North-East Region. This permanent position follows a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.30pm, and offers a salary package comprising Basic + VB.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review engineering drawings, welding specifications, and customer requirements to determine process needs.
• Develop, qualify, and enhance Electron Beam Welding (EBW) processes for aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium alloys.
• Establish and maintain welding parameters, work instructions, process specifications, and qualification records.
• Conduct process trials, adjust parameters, and perform validation to support the development of welding procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for welding parameters, process qualifications, and production records.
• Investigate welding defects and process issues, and provide technical troubleshooting support.
• Support EBW equipment setup, maintenance coordination, calibration, and routine system verification.
• Monitor weld quality, process capability, and productivity, and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Support customer and third-party audits, process qualification activities, and technical investigations as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding/Heat Treatment Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in Electron Beam Welding or general welding, particularly involving aluminium and titanium alloys, is preferred.
• Familiarity with welding metallurgy, weld defects, process parameters, and material properties is an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
