On behalf of a world-renowned technology company, Huawei, we are hiring a Cloud Core Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-based core network solutions, providing technical support for network operations, and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of core network services.

Job Description:

• Cloud Core Engineer focuses on the foundational infrastructure and delivery of cloud core platforms e.g. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Evolved Packet Core (EPC), ensuring reliability, performance and security, troubleshooting technical issues, and provide technical support to cloud-based related voice & data services.
• Responsible to design, build, and maintain cloud resources and components, including compute instances, storage, and networking.
• Responsible to design, build, and maintain the core components base on cloud-infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and core network applications.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
• Serve as a product SME and able to works independently complete technical work in service scenarios such as project delivery, network maintenance, learning services, and service product development involving cloud core network product.
• Responsible in achieving delivery & service business objectives in aspects like network management baselines, efficiency, costs, quality or competitiveness.
• Require to work as a team with either regional/HQ or local team.
• Require to work under minimum supervision to complete tasks assigned.
• Require to be able to present technical solution professionally and have technical training for local channel partners and customers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CS/IMS network design, deployment, delivery, operations, or maintenance, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Experience in 5G IMS new-site deployment, capacity expansion, and VoLTE-related projects is preferred.
• Experience in NFV/cloud-based network deployment, post-sales support, and project management within the telecommunications or carrier environment is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoBB, RCS, Cloud, NFVI and related network solutions, with experience supporting major mobile operators.
• Good communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at different levels.
• Knowledge of IMS network elements, including CSCF, HSS, AS, MGCF, AGCF, ENUM, MRFC, MRFP and SBC, will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CS Core Network technologies, including MSC/MGW, VNF, TCP/IP, VLAN, MPLS and VRRP, will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation and a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and learn new technologies.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively across different projects, responsibilities and business requirements.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional and multicultural teams in a fast-paced technology environment.
