Brief Description

The Legal Intern will support the legal and compliance function by assisting in legal research, contract review, documentation, and regulatory-relatedmatters across the Group’s diverse business operations. This role provides practical exposure to corporate legal work within regulated and fast-pacedindustries, while working closely with management and cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
• Support the review and updating of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory, compliance, and business-related matters.
• Help organize, update, and maintain the company’s legal documents and contract database.
• Collaborate with the legal team and other departments to support ongoing projects.
• Stay informed about legal and regulatory developments that may impact the business.

Requirements:

• Final-year law student or recent graduate with a Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Strong command of written English and solid legal research skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated industry with a keen interest in insurance and data protection law.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office and Google Sheets.
• Previous internship experience or exposure to legal administrative or research work is an added bonus.

Industry Exposure & Scope:

This internship offers exposure to a broad range of legal and commercial matters across regulated industries, including healthcare administration,biotechnology and nutraceutical businesses, food & beverage operations, intellectual property management, corporate investments, and strategicbusiness projects.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
