Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily food manufacturing and production activities.

• Coordinate production schedules and manpower deployment.

• Monitor food preparation, processing, cooking and packing operations.

• Operate and monitor production equipment where required.

• Ensure production procedures comply with food hygiene, safety and quality standards.

• Conduct checks on raw materials and finished products.

• Maintain production and inventory records.

• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and equipment abnormalities.

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of production areas and equipment.

• Support production duties during peak production periods.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in food manufacturing, food production, central kitchen or similar manufacturing environment.

• Experience in supervising or coordinating production workers is preferred.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Able to perform standing and physical production duties where required.

• Able to work rotating shifts according to production schedules.

• Able to work on weekends and public holidays when rostered.

• Able to work overtime when required by production demands.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and workplace safety procedures would be an advantage.

• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
