Join our client, an A1 main contractor on a major semiconductor / high-tech facility project in Singapore, supporting the delivery of a technically complex and highly coordinated built environment. The role offers exposure to multidisciplinary architectural coordination, MEP interfaces and specialist works, making it particularly suitable for candidates with high-tech, industrial or advanced manufacturing project experience.
Your Role
- Support the Project Manager in preparing project reports, documentation and design / construction coordination meetings.
- Lead and guide a team of Architectural / Design Coordinators in managing architectural works for a technically complex semiconductor / high-tech facility.
- Liaise closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, specialist contractors and suppliers to ensure architectural requirements are properly interpreted and implemented.
- Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, cleanroom, process and other specialist systems, ensuring effective multidisciplinary integration.
- Plan, organise and supervise the preparation and submission of construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documents.
- Review architectural drawings and details to identify design discrepancies, constructability issues and interface clashes before and during construction.
- Provide technical support to the site team and resolve architectural and design issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor architectural progress and workmanship on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors to address defects, installation issues and outstanding works.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore authority requirements, codes of practice, client specifications and project standards.
The Requirements
- Degree in Architecture with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.
- Experience in semiconductor, high-tech, data centre, industrial or advanced manufacturing projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong experience in multidisciplinary architectural coordination, construction detailing and technical submissions.
- Experience coordinating with MEP and specialist trades in complex building environments.
- Good knowledge of Singapore authority requirements and relevant construction standards.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and technically demanding project environment.
