We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role suits an engineer with a background in mechanical building services design and a strong interest in advancing towards project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involved in mechanical design of building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related mechanical systems) for Commercial and High Rise projects.
• Design and develop mechanical systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and sustainability practices.
• Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, technical specifications, and detailed drawings.
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and Carrier tools for system modeling and coordination.
• Prepare documentation for tendering, cost estimation, and procurement support.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, testing, commissioning support, and contractor liaison.
• Participate in project planning, coordination meetings, and support the project manager in managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Learn and contribute to data centre-specific MEP design such as precision cooling, redundancy planning, and energy-efficient systems.
• Gain exposure to mechanical systems used in industrial and factory settings, including process HVAC, compressed air systems, and heavy-duty ventilation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design for MEP building services.
• Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
• Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn project management and coordination.
• Interest in advanced infrastructure projects like data centres and industrial facilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
