Key Responsibility
Operate and monitor the UPW treatment system to maintain required water quality and flow.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system checks on pumps, filters, membranes, tanks, valves, and instrumentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to water quality, pressure, conductivity, TOC, and flow.
Support breakdown maintenance and coordinate with contractors or vendors for repairs and servicing.
Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water quality results, and equipment performance.
Coordinate with production, facilities, and quality teams to minimize disruptions to operations.
Participate in equipment upgrades, commissioning, and qualification activities for UPW systems.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring system issues.
Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in UPW, water treatment, or semiconductor/manufacturing utility systems.
Good Understanding of pumps, filtration systems, membranes, control systems, or water quality parameters.
Troubleshooting, analytical, or problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Key Competencies
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
Experience with preventive maintenance systems
Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance
Ability to read technical drawings and P&IDs
