Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team in Singapore. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support senior chefs in daily operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and cooking according to senior chefs’ instructions to ensure dish quality
Follow recipes and cooking techniques accurately to support consistent food preparation
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Manage inventory by assisting with stock rotation and monitoring supplies to reduce waste
Communicate effectively in English to coordinate with team members in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen
Required competencies and certifications
Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary qualification
At least 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge and application of food safety and hygiene practices
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Proficiency in languages other than English to enhance team communication and customer interaction
