About the role

Morgan Half International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced IT Manager specialising in Infrastructure & Operations to join our client’s technology team. This is a full-time position, where you will take a strategic and hands-on approach to managing critical IT infrastructure and operational support. This role is pivotal to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the technology environment, directly supporting the organisation's operational excellence and business continuity objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage solutions, and data centres

• Oversee daily operations of IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of all systems

• Manage and lead a small team of IT operations and infrastructure specialists, providing mentoring, training, and performance management

• Establish and maintain IT service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with service standards

• Implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect critical business operations

• Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts, including procurement of hardware, software, and services

• Ensure adherence to IT security policies, data protection regulations, and industry compliance standards

• Prepare budgets, detailed reports and metrics on infrastructure performance, capacity planning, and IT expenditure

• Collaborate with other departments to identify infrastructure requirements and support digital transformation initiatives

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support to operational teams

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity

• Proficiency in IT service management frameworks such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)

• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively, fostering collaboration and professional development

• Excellent project management skills with experience implementing large-scale infrastructure projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Experience in Hong Kong's business environment
