Qualifications:

• Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant external audit experience
• Experience handling audit assignments from planning through completion
• Good understanding of auditing and financial reporting requirements
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and deadlines
• Able to guide and review junior team members
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail
• Ready to take greater ownership and grow into a leadership role
• Candidates currently working as an Audit Senior, Audit Semi-Senior or experienced Audit Associate are encouraged to apply
• Professional qualification or progress towards ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MICPA or other recognised accounting qualifications will be an advantage

TCT & Co is seeking an experienced Audit Senior who can independently manage audit engagements, communicate confidently with clients and guide junior team members. The role provides exposure to SME clients across industries, opportunities to lead engagements, and a clear career path toward Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager within the KEMM Advisory network.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting documentation
• Identify key audit risks, accounting issues and areas requiring further attention
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Communicate directly with clients on audit queries, outstanding documents and findings
• Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within agreed timelines
• Resolve accounting and audit issues arising during engagements
• Guide and review the work of junior audit team members
• Discuss significant audit matters with audit leadership
• Assist with finalisation of audit files and financial statements
• Use audit software, digital tools and technology to improve audit efficiency
