JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotations, and conducting price comparisons.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand and follow up on purchasing requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in communicating with suppliers and following up on vendor-related matters.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for purchasing transactions and supplier information.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field is an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of relevant purchasing experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
