Responsibilities
Read Blueprints:
Interpret technical drawings, layouts, and work orders to plan the welding process.
Operate Equipment:
Use TIG, MIG, ARC, or SMAW welding tools, alongside cutters and grinders, safely and efficiently.
Metal Preparation:
Clean rust, grease, and slag from metal surfaces; cut and align parts using clamps or calipers.
Perform Welding:
Join structural components, sheet metals, or pipes in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
Quality Inspection:
Test and inspect welded surfaces to detect flaws, cracks, or weak joints.
Safety Compliance:
Follow strict workplace safety rules, including wearing heat-resistant gear, masks, and safety shoes
