Responsibilities
As Engineer of MSH/MSB Lean Manufacturing, you will manage the implementation of Lean transformation methodologies and tools across High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), Component Assembly and Test, and SSD operations. You will collaborate closely with Site functional teams to identify, explore and implement lean methodologies/tool to uncover step-change area of improvement in throughput, labor productivity, yield and cycle time performance.
Main Responsibilities:
Facilitate continuous improvement event across different functional team (Kaizen, Value stream Mapping – VSM, Project, Workshop, etc)
Develop continuous program and system for lean culture sustainability
Collaborate with functional experts in identifying area of improvement through application of lean methodology and tools.
Conduct Lean knowledge transfer and training to build up organizational capabilities
Serve as the key integrator between central and site functional teams in developing, driving and communicating progress for critical lean improvement initiatives
Ensure Lean team facilitates lean diagnostics and design of improvements, integrating key inputs from central and site functional teams
Develop overall view of critical initiatives and impact to key performance indicators
Provide visibility on program status, including key milestones with clear ownership
Trigger interventions to ensure program are on-track towards targets
Support regular cadence on reports/ meetings with senior leadership, including deep dives for weekly/ monthly reporting and ad-hoc senior management reports
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Master's/bachelor’s degree in Industrial and system engineering, engineering management, Production & Operation Management, or related field of study
Prior certification or experience in Lean Manufacturing would be beneficial
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
